Nominations Process

Our nomination process is designed to recognise outstanding individuals, creators, businesses, and organisations who have made a positive impact within their communities and industries.

How Nominations Work

During the nomination period, members of the public are invited to nominate individuals or businesses they believe deserve recognition in each award category.

There is no limit to who can be nominated, provided they meet the eligibility requirements for their respective category.

Each nomination submitted counts as one mention. At the close of the nomination period, all valid nominations will be reviewed and verified by our team.

Screening & Eligibility

Every nominee will undergo a screening process before being considered for the official shortlist. This review helps ensure that nominees are suitable representatives of the awards and uphold the values and standards of the organisation.

Being nominated does not guarantee that an individual or business will be shortlisted, regardless of the number of nominations they receive. The organisers reserve the right to remove or decline any nominee who is deemed ineligible or unsuitable, or whose conduct does not align with the values of the awards.

Shortlisting

Once nominations have been verified and screening has been completed, the nominees with the highest number of valid mentions will be shortlisted.

Where applicable, the top three (3) most-nominated individuals from each division will become the official finalists. For example:

• Kids Division: Top 3 nominees
• Adult Division: Top 3 nominees
• Veteran Division: Top 3 nominees

This means some categories may have up to nine (9) official nominees.

Please note that not all award categories include every division. For example, categories such as Social Media Couple of the Year may only have one division, resulting in fewer than nine nominees.

Nominee Benefits

Each shortlisted nominee will automatically receive one (1) complimentary ticket to attend the awards ceremony.

Should a nominee wish to purchase additional tickets for family, friends, or supporters, they will be entitled to an exclusive 30% discount on all additional tickets purchased.

Announcement of Nominees

Once the verification process has been completed, the official shortlist of nominees will be announced across our website and social media platforms.

Each official nominee will receive a personalised promotional flyer to share with their supporters and followers. Public voting will then open through our official website and the voting link available in our Instagram bio.

Nominees are expected to actively promote their nomination throughout the voting period. The organisers reserve the right to remove any shortlisted nominee who fails to reasonably promote their nomination or participate in the awards process. Such decisions may be made without prior notice and are at the sole discretion of the organisers.

• Nominations are free to submit.
• Being nominated does not guarantee a place on the official shortlist.
• Every nominee will be screened to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements and uphold the standards of the awards.
• Each shortlisted nominee will receive one complimentary ticket to the awards ceremony.
• Shortlisted nominees are eligible to purchase additional tickets at a 30% discounted rate.
• Individuals may only be shortlisted in categories for which they are eligible.
• Only valid nominations received during the official nomination period will be counted.
• The organisers reserve the right to merge duplicate nominations where names have been entered differently but refer to the same individual or business.
• The organisers reserve the right to remove shortlisted nominees who fail to actively promote their nomination or who are found to be in breach of the awards’ standards.
• The organisers’ decisions regarding nominations, shortlisting, eligibility, and disqualification are final and not subject to appeal.
